vortex cannon

Vortex cannon

W.A.L.T. understand what forces are and
plan for your chosen project
Force is energy that has been pulled by itself or by a machine
List 3  different types of forces
Air Resistance Force.
Tension Force.
Spring Force.
The 1st one vortex cannon

Aim: I want to find out if we can knock over a massive tower of paper cups with the smoke ring from the vortex cannon with how big the hit is.

Equipment
Bucket
smoak machine
Duct tape
Rubbish bag
A round 40 Cups

Method
1.collect your equipment

2.Get a bucket and cut a medium  sized hole in the middle of the bottom and put a plastic bag over the bucket

3.Use the duct tape and tape the plastic bag to the open end

4.Set up the cup tower

5.Fill up the bucket up with the smoke

6.smack the plastic bag really hard and watch the smoke ring shoot out and see how much cups you can get down with on hit.

3nd
Air:all of them
hard

We found out that the furthest one hit the most cups down in one hit.we had to use air. Closer we were the air went through the cups and only took down 2 hits. The things went bad was that the smoke machine didn’t work so we had just use air. The things that went will was that we use are time well and finish the experiment. I think next  time i will try to not rush things but still get it done in time.

Locrard's principle

                                                               Locard's principle
Locard speculated that every time you make contact with another person, place, or thing, it results in an exchange of physical materials. What a criminal does, by coming into contact with things, a criminal can leave all sorts of evidence, including DNA, fingerprints, footprints, hair, skin cells, blood, bodily fluids, pieces of clothing, fibers and more. At the same time, they will also take something away from the scene with them.

what can be left behind the at the crime scene.

finger prints, shoes prints, tools left behind, blood, fibers off clothing, broken fingernails, identification, DNA, hair, evidence of cleaning up ,witness, CCTV, leave family number behind, licence plate, clothing, body, bullets, knife, tyre tracks

who collects the evidence? Forensic technician
what do they use? Camera, numbers, gloves, stuff for moulds of footprints and tyres, tweezers, bags for samples

paper planes

Aim: I want to find out how to make a paper plane.

Fantastic forces

1. what are forces?  mental or moral strength or power
2.why are forces important? force to push and pull us back. we need forces to sit on chairs

                                     Planes

4 .Image result for label pictures about how planes fly with forces
5. the paper plane was first called the paper dart and was made out of folded paper
6I think this will work better then the others because it is light and i think will go longer

Chromatography

do to this you draw a line on the paper and but it in the water but                                                                                                 make sure the ink doesn't touch the water
